Kidi shows appreciation to Tic Tac


Talented young Ghanaian R&B musician was born in 1994. Kidi, also known as Dennis Nana Dwamena has expressed his gratitude to multiple award winner, Tic Tac for endorsing him.

“For Tic Tac to say he sees himself in me, during his early stages in music, and express confidence in me is all joy and thanks be to God,” the ‘Odo’ hitmaker said.

Kidi further exclaimed that Tic Tac is a legend and has done a lot for Ghana music, therefore, he really is humbled.

He made these remarks on Happy FM’s Showbiz Extra entertainment show on Saturday.

He added that he was honoured for such endorsement because Tic Tac has done a lot of Ghana music.

This comes at the back of Tic Tac’s continuous endorsement of Kidi and Kuami Eugene, for their amazing talent and quality compositions.

Tic Tac has on numerous radio interviews called on Ghanaians to support these talents in their quest to promote Ghana music, for they possess unique qualities.

Asantehene distools Asafohene for gross insubordination

The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has destooled the Asafohene, Akyamfour Kwame Akowuah III, for flouting the Great Oath of Asanteman, one of the pillars of the Asante Kingdom and found guilty of ten different charges.

He was slapped with forty-five counts by his elders, who according to them, the Asafohene was “autocratic”, did not respect them and performed his duties contrary to Asante customs and traditions.

Delivering the final judgement at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi on Thursday, June 20, 2019, Asantehene said the Asafohene’s actions breached the customs and traditions of the Ashanti Kingdom, which is punishable.

Kingdom FM’s Ashanti Regional Correspondent, Antwi Boasiako reported that Otumfuo had several occasions warned the Asafohene on issues ranging from illegal sales of lands, destoolment and enstoolment of his sub-chiefs.

The Asafohene, who is the head of Akwamu Division of the Kumasi Traditional Council (KTC), was enstooled in 2011.
