NETSEBA FASHION, a Ghanaian fashion designing house, has been selected to represent Ghana in this year’s Festival International de la Mode au Togo (FIMO228), which will be held in Lome, Togo, from February 20 – 25.
According to Aba Netseba Hayfron, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Netseba Fashion, she was selected due to her good work, adding that she is privileged to represent the entire fashion industry in Ghana in Lome to have dealings with countries from the other parts of the world.
Speaking to the fylladey.com Ms Hayfron said “the show which is a fashion festival will help showcase creativity in fashion.”
She commented on the fashion industry in Ghana in the words “Ghana has a lot of talents in the fashion industry but Ghanaians don’t patronise its products. Our industry needs all the celebrities to support it.
“The taste for foreign goods (music, fashion, food, fashion and movies) is becoming too much; the Ghanaian fashion industry needs support.”
The designer, who hails from the Central Region of Ghana, has been in the industry for 10 years and designs for Miss EXL Plus, Miss GIJ, Miss Zenith, Miss Globe and a few others.
The show is being organised by Challenge Model Agency.
