Zylofon CEO must aspire to be President – Akoo Nana

Highlife artiste, William Ato Ankrah known by stage name Akoo Nana, has called on the CEO of Zylofon Media, Nana Appiah Mensah to start dreaming of becoming Ghana’s president in the near future.

He made this revelation in an interview with Adomonline’s Dennis Adu on Thursday.

According to him, Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1) has created a lot of avenues in the creative industry which is supporting the players in the industry to boost their careers effectively.

He, therefore, is of the opinion that if NAM 1 veers into politics, he will be able to improve upon the living standards of Ghanaians.

“He has brought light into the entertainment industry. He is signing artistes, building theatres, and other avenues to generate income for industry players. He is a businessman and I see him as the youngest president. If he should go into politics there is a lot he can do to transform the country….” Akoo said.

Asked if he would be disappointed should Nana Appiah discard the idea, Akoo said “we will push him to be. I will do it personally. I will tell people around him that he has the tendency to become it…” he said.

Akoo Nana said the political strategies don’t matter at all arguing that all he cares about is the CEO of Zylofon becoming president of the country.

“I see him to be a president of Ghana one day, anyhow I support it. Music is business. I see him as a very smart person. We need smart people to build the country…” he said.
