Ghanaian reggae/dancehall superstar Stonebwoy has been nominated at this year’s Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards.
The multiple award-winning singers were nominated in the Favorite African Star category alongside Nigeria’s Adesua, IK and Kenya’s Sauti Sol.
Voting has begun and fans can use the hashtags #KCA and #VoteStonebwoy on twitter to vote for Stonebwoy.
Stonebwoy is set to host the Independence Day concert on his birthday 5th March at the Labadi Beach Hotel, supported by Kelvyn Boy, OV, DJ Justice and The Bhim Band.

Tresh‘s new song finally out
Ghanaian Gospel artiste Tresh known in real life as Stanley Kobina Botchway has released his new single dubbed ‘Oye’ which means good in English.
According to Tresh, he is passionate about representing his country Ghana with the gospel worldwide and feeding people from all over the world with his music, “that is why I rap and sing in both my native language Fante and English to be understood both locally and internationally”.
Tresh who doubles as a songwriter said his new song ‘OYE’ talks about the fact that we should use our time wisely and make the best of it. “I do rap music, afro music and also like to try other genres because everyone deserves to hear the good news. I don’t plan to change anything in the music industry but i plan to add.”
He has earlier released song like ‘Only You’, ‘Love Tho’, ‘I Know Right’, ‘Passion’ and ‘Victory in Me’ among others .Tresh said his songs are inspired by the holy spirit and things around me as in personal or other’s issues. “My songs are all connected to the gospel and about how to live a greater life. ‘Oye’ was produced by Rekx beats”
