Okete, Ghanaian versatile musician is known in real life as Okete Boamah David.
He hails from the Ashanti Region, Mampong to be precise but stays at Sowutuom, where he is pursuing his music career.
The Soultown Music recording artiste had his Junior and Senior High School education at Stephenson’s International and Nungua Senior High School respectively.
Okete is currently a student of Methodist University College to continue his Education.
Music has been part of him from class four where he and his friends will hit the tables to rap and sing to the beats created.
It was all passion and love for the music but he started doing music professionally in 2013 after SHS.
He draws inspiration from what happens in my environment, in his life, in another person’s life and his creativity.
His team, ” TEAM OKETE MUSIC” has been supportive of his music career releasing great tunes over the past few years.
Last year 30th October 2018, Okete officially released his first EP titled “The Street Is Fed UP” which had 7 songs.
This hip hop oriented EP did very well with songs like “Disturbed” “Aley” “Where The Love Dey” “Sleepless” “Bad Blood” among others getting massive air plays.
He has released a new single titled “Date” which is making waves in Ghana and beyond.
OKETE is set to release a second EP this year and will follow up with another hit single.

Tresh‘s new song finally out
Ghanaian Gospel artiste Tresh known in real life as Stanley Kobina Botchway has released his new single dubbed ‘Oye’ which means good in English.
According to Tresh, he is passionate about representing his country Ghana with the gospel worldwide and feeding people from all over the world with his music, “that is why I rap and sing in both my native language Fante and English to be understood both locally and internationally”.
Tresh who doubles as a songwriter said his new song ‘OYE’ talks about the fact that we should use our time wisely and make the best of it. “I do rap music, afro music and also like to try other genres because everyone deserves to hear the good news. I don’t plan to change anything in the music industry but i plan to add.”
He has earlier released song like ‘Only You’, ‘Love Tho’, ‘I Know Right’, ‘Passion’ and ‘Victory in Me’ among others .Tresh said his songs are inspired by the holy spirit and things around me as in personal or other’s issues. “My songs are all connected to the gospel and about how to live a greater life. ‘Oye’ was produced by Rekx beats”
